If you’re wondering what there is to see on our tour of Venice Beach, the answer is simple — there's plenty! Venice Beach is the birthplace of surfing, so it’s only natural that you’ll often see surfers dotting the water. If you like to people-watch, you’ll want to head directly to the boardwalk, where you’ll typically see people skating, cycling, and playing volleyball or basketball.
You can also check out Muscle Beach when you visit Venice Beach. You can take a seat in the stands near the competition stage or watch people work out from a viewpoint that’s outside the beach’s dumbbell-shaped fitness facility. Even if you’re not a skateboarding enthusiast, you’ll want to swing by the Venice Skate Park to see some of the most thrilling skateboarding action you’ll find anywhere.
There’s a whole lot to do and see at our Beverly Hills tour stop! With so many stars and starlets calling Beverly Hills home, star gazing is a popular activity in the city. Of course, shopping along Rodeo Drive is something many of our guests enjoy doing, too. We’ll drop you off a few blocks away from Rodeo Drive, near the Beverly Hills sign. From there, it’s just a quick walk to start shopping with the rich and famous.
How does Grauman’s Chinese Theatre sound? Opened in 1927, this iconic theater has been used to launch countless films, including “Star Wars” in 1977. Today, the theater can seat more than 900 people, and it has one of the biggest movie screens on the continent. Just outside the theater’s doors, you can see the signatures, handprints, and footprints of a wide range of stars. These impressions date back to the 1920s through the present day. You’ll also be able to stroll down the Hollywood Walk of Fame and search for your favorite celebrities’ stars along the walkway. Don’t hesitate to take a selfie or a family photo with the stars of your choice to cement the memories you’ll make throughout your LA day tour. Have you always wanted to know what it’s like to walk the red carpet? While we can’t roll out the red carpet for you, we can tell you that you’ll get to visit the host site of the Oscars, Dolby Theatre, during your full-day LA tour.
No, we are generally prevented from entering LAX airport. We do pick up at many hotels in the vicinity of LAX. Many of these hotels offer a shuttle from the airport. A complete list of hotel pickups can be found HERE.
Check the weather before coming for what to wear (generally jeans/shorts a t-shirt and a sweatshirt for the morning are all you need - maybe a hat, too). Bring some sunglasses, something to drink (though bottled water is available on the bus), a camera, and your wallet, and you're all set. On sunny days (which is 85% of the year), you may want to bring some sunscreen and chapstick.
You must advance purchase tour tickets, although you don't need to bring a printed ticket. Our greeters will check you in with the name on the reservation.
Seats are first-come-first-served and we cannot guarantee that you will be seated next to your party. To maximize the likelihood that you will be able to sit together, we strongly recommend arriving early for check-in. All groups booking together will be placed on the same bus. If you have 2 or more reservations for your group please notify us in the comments section at the time of purchase so your group can be placed on the same bus.
