Fantastic day out! We had only 1 full day in LA and the best decision we made was to do Luxury Private tour via Viator. Luxury SUV picked our group of 4 up, on time and directly from the hotel and we spent 7 hours touring and exploring LA. Our tour guy Monty was absolutely fantastic, very knowledgable, funny and day just flew by. Highly recommended especially if you are tight for time. Thank you so much!

Experience was absolutely amazing and customer service was top tier.I was travelling to California on a solo trip and I was only there for two days. I wanted to do Disney and see as much as I could in the short amount of time.I communicated back and forth by email leading up to the trip to plan and organize and response time was quick.All communication leading up to my pick up was clear and personal.The trip itself was great, a lot of information, entertainment, and a comfortable ride.Worth it to see so much, without doing all the driving and parking yourself! Fantastic Full-Day Hollywood Tour!We had an amazing experience on our full-day Hollywood tour! We took the “A Day in LA Tour” today. It was so fun- from Michael of the Morning Show who picked us up at our hotel, to Jeff our stalwart driver who navigates all of LA while keeping us on our toes with Hollywood trivia and music from LA musicians- Doors, Beach Boys, Tom Petty. How he drove the bus and kept talking without missing a beat amazed me. I really feel like we saw all of LA- from Muscle beach to Beverly Hills, to the sky in the observatory and the stars of Sunset strip.It was a full day, but the waters and pacing kept us going. If you want to see LA, this is the tour to take.

This was an absolutely fun and thorough way to see LA. We were picked up by Mike at our hotel. He was so knowledgeable about trivia and it was so much fun trying to answer his questions. Picked up on time at 8am on Hollywood Boulevard and driven to Santa Monica. Had about 40 minutes downtime before tour due to start at 9:20. The downtime is mentioned in the booking notes so not an issue. Though tour proper was due to start at 9:20 the bus didn't arrive till 10.00 a.m. as the bus was held up by an accident on the highway, we were made aware of this but it didn't seem to change t the rest of the itinerary , just that we finished later than planned. The tour started at 10am and we arrived back in Hollywood Boulevard at ,5pm where I left the tour , the bus was staying for about 50 minutes where you could then turn to Santa Monica if you wanted.Note the tour comprises of a number of stops where you are left to explore the area on your own. The guide does not accompany you at all.Our guide John was very informative and helpful.Overall very good tour and saw a lot.

We very much enjoyed our ‘LA Iconic sights & Beaches’ tour with ‘A Day in LA in Tours”’ as it was great coverage of both Santa Monica & Venice Beaches as well as the iconic LA sights. The bus was comfortable & a good size for small manageable groups. Our driver Jeff was very personable - with a banter sporting a great blend of historical & local knowledge and humour, complemented by great music. Simple system of four routes that you can travel with one ticket. There's a lot to see. I recommend taking a two-day ticket if you want to get out at individual spots. The tour stops at every highlight you know from LA. The bus drivers were all super nice.

This is the tour you have to take if you want to see everything about LA in one day. Griffith Observatory, Rodeo Drive, Muscle Beach, Venice, the Pier, Hollywood. You'll leave feeling like you really have a handle on LA. Plus the drivers are entertaining, often working actors. My family really enjoyed the lunch break at the Farmer's Market. Don't miss this tour -- it's the best.You get time at each location to get off the bus and look around. It's actually kind of amazing how much you can see and get done in one day.

Great tour! Well-curated list of stops and the perfect amount of time at each stop. There is no way we could have done all of that on our own in that amount of time. If we had tried, I would have been frazzled from driving and looking for parking. This way, I got to enjoy it all stress-free. Jeff with the full day LA tours was wonderful!! Got to see so many sites, perfect amount of time at each stop, clear enough for the Hollywood sign, would have loved to go back to the farmers market, so much to walk around with shops and decore for the holidays, even a cute trolly ran thru. Santa Monica pretty walk along beach. Sunset stop at the store they drop you off at, best souvenirs. Rodeo drive top notch, great pic spots, highly recommend!!

If you want to see LA a 1 day, highly recommend this tour. You get about 40-60 min at each destination. You won’t need to battle parking which is great. You’ll even cruise by celebrities homes. I saw all the sights I wanted to see thru this bus ride. There’s about 15-20 ppl per bus so it’s not a huge tour bus. Our guide Joe was great with his info provided and sense of humor. Easy to book, check in and ride. Best way to see LA.

I had an amazing experience on the "A Day in LA" tour!! The locations we visited were fantastic, covering all the main sites of the city. We were disappointed, we only got 25 mins at Santa Monica Pier and the same for Venice beach. By the time you walk to the place and use a bathroom your times up. Other couples were late back 4 times aswell. We got back at 5pm which was too early, for the price we paid I feel let down. Tour was an anti climax

A great day tour of Los Angeles fantastic itinerary, took in lots of great landmarks , great value too.picked up At La La land then headed to Santa Monica for meet up and tour bus. We were well informed of what our itinerary was and gave us a map. Jeff was our driver and introduced himself to everyone individually,very professional at all times, had a. great few atories and historic facts too. very clean and comfortable mini bus, Jeff was very knowledgeable and passionate about his job and LA. Timings at all the stopping points and info about toilets etc was given prior to leaving the bus, all and all a fantastic way to see around LA. Definitely recommend this trip.

Perfect to go to all the popular spots in one single day with time to walk around and take pictures on every stop!! The Day in LA tour was by far one of the best tours I've ever done while traveling. I surprised my mom with a trip to LA and I knew all the places I wanted us to go but couldn't figure out how we would make it to all of them on our own in one trip so I started researching tours and this was the top rated one! When calling to schedule the tour, the process was simple and secure. After booking, text messages were received to keep me abreast of what was to come. I was called about 10 minutes before pickup to inform me that the shuttle would be at my hotel soon (in about 5 minutes) and what to look for and where to be located. There is a shuttle that picks you up and takes you to a central location in Santa Monica where you are then split into groups and assigned to your tour bus (shuttle) for the day. As soon as we got on Raul's bus I knew we were in for a treat! Raul is personable, knowledgeable, funny and to top it off he's a great driver. He provided so much valuable information as we navigated from one municipality to another. Giving us history nuggets and small nuances that may not be widely known, but also seamlessly ending his short speeches before arriving at our next destination is a skill that he has certainly honed and perfected! He never had us feeling like he was talking too much or waiting for him to be quiet. He let us know when he would finish, that he would resume speaking when we arrived at our next point. He communicated clearly and effectively about where we were, what we had available to do or see at each attraction, how much time we had and when and where to meet back at the bus. The tour itself LITERALLY hits all the best parts of LA in a fun filled 9 hour day while taking the pressure off of having to navigate through such a vast area on your own (it would be impossible to do anyway)! Totally professional company, awesome service and well worth every cent! THANK YOU Raul and A Day in LA Tours for a magnificent experience!

The sightseeing tour was amazing to us as this was my wife and I 2nd time coming to Los Angeles, and the first time seeing some of the areas we would have never seen. From the Santa Monica Pier to the Farmers Market and Griffin Park. Our tour guide Joe was very knowledgeable and talked throughout the drive, giving us the skinny on various areas of Los Angeles we stopped our either passed by. We also stopped on Rodeo Drive and Sunset Blvd to take in the sights. There was time to shop for about 1.5 hours, and many opportunities to grab a bite to eat and/or take pictures. The price of this tour was worth it, and I would recommend it to any 1st or 2nd time visitors to the area. 7.5 hours of entertainment and fun!

The LA tour was very interesting for a first time visit, I took the full day LA tour, driven by a knowledgeable guide in a comfortable small AC shuttle. We had time for bathroom on each stop. I specially loved the freedom to walk around at every sight. It was orderly organized.

It was amazing the number of different neighborhoods/areas of Los Angeles that we visited. Raul was a wealth of knowledge about history of the areas, homes, people and events of the areas. Farmer's Market for lunch was awesome.

Unforgettable LA Tour with an Amazing Team!My family and I had an exceptional time with A Day in LA Tours. It was the perfect way to see some of LA’s iconic locations in just one day! We explored Santa Monica, Venice Beach, The Farmers Market, Beverly Hills, the Hollywood Sign at Griffith Observatory, and wrapped it up with the Hollywood Walk of Fame.Special shoutout to Alex, Jerry, Michael, and the entire crew—these guys are fantastic! I went on a tour with my sister from Japan. Mr. Jeff was our driver and tour guide, and he was a really nice guy. He gave us lots of explanations about tourist attractions, and thanks to him we had a fun day.You can travel around famous sightseeing spots in a clean bus.Although you need to be able to understand the minimum level of English (what time to meet, etc.), I recommend this tour because it was cheaper than other companies' tours held in Japanese ^^You can also get water on the train! !

We chose them because of the rating, and maybe we had higher expectations.Pros:1. You see pretty much every touristy spot in LA in 8 hours2. The busses are modern3. Mike (I guess was his name) was a very positive and good vibe dude. Loved it. Too bad we didn't have the tour with him.4. Complementary water providedCons:1. It's not a guided tour. It's fairly similar to hop-on hop-off's as experience.2. The "tours" feel very rushed. For example:- In Venice Beach, you have to choose what you want to see. The canals or the Boardwalk or Gold'sGym. Can't do all in the time provided.- At the market, the same. If you take lunch, there is your time. You have no time remaining to stroll or see other things.3. John was mumbling very much, and it was really hard to follow what he said at all times.For parties of 2 or larger, I guess taking Uber/Lyft to all the spots would be cheaper than paying for this tour.I guess for parties of 4, there are far better solutions.In conclusion, I'm disappointed for the money spent, and I would definitely not recommend it and would not do it again.

An absolutely incredible tour of LA all in one day. So helpful, especially when you're only in LA for a few days, so you can see all the famous sights with travel costs of ubers or taxis cut way down, just by booking this tour. Not only that, but Jeff — tour guide extraordinaire — shared anecdotes of meeting famous people, the history of all the landmarks he drove us to, along with quizzing us playfully on our knowledge of pop culture by popping in a song and asking us who the artist was or asking which famous film won a certain Oscar in a specific year. We were taken along the Sunset Strip to Santa Monica and Venice Beach, Rodeo Drive, the Grove (and Farmer's Market), the Griffith Observatory (saw the Hollywood sign on the way), Dolby Theater and the Walk of Fame, and much more that was shown while we were riding on the bus. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants a crash course on LA and the history of: California, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and more!

I had an amazing experience with Steven from Viator. As a first-time visitor, I was thrilled with how much we were able to see in such a short time. Steven ensured that we covered a lot of ground, making the most of our trip. Although I would have appreciated at least 45 minutes at both beaches to fully take in the scenery, the overall experience was still fantastic. Steven’s punctuality and professionalism stood out, and the car was comfortable, with plenty of water bottles provided throughout the journey. We took the tour yesterday and really enjoyed it. It really was a Day in LA. We hit all the iconic locations we wanted to see while travelling in an air conditioned, moderately sized bus with leather seats. Collin our tour guide was great and gave us a lot of good tips. We parked in the 1540 2nd street parking garage ($30) which was right across from the valet stand where the bus boards. The checkin is right in front of a tony shopping court and just 3 blocks from the Santa Monica pier. Even if you have more time than a day (which is all we had) to spend in LA, it’s worth it.

We saw all the sights and ended with a drive around beverly hills homes - quite a few had a story behind them! We were a party of five but the car was great - luxurious and roomy. This is everything my family would have wanted to have seen on our own. But I didn’t have to hassle driving the car around in traffic and missing all the cool sites. I didn’t have to hassle with finding public parking. I just got to sit back and relax and enjoy this amazing experience with my wife and 3 kids. Plus the people we interacted with were fantastic. Michael picked us up at our hotel and couldn’t have been kinder, even with the terrible construction out front of the Hilton. And Key was our knowledgeable and friendly tour guide for the day. Our whole family was thankful for this tour as we were trying to see all the sites in a short time. I will definitely recommend this to any of my friends or family visiting Los Angeles!

Where should I start??? First of all they tell you to be at the meeting place at a certain time, you get there and the tour bus WAS LATE. MY party was the first to arrive, and did that matter? The bus driver called larger parties to board FIRST! If this is to be the case, they should've STATED that when I booked! Their boarding policies are PATHETIC!!

Great way to visit all the popular places in LA, with a driver who knows all the detours when there are closed roads!In the evening it's a bit long to get back because of the traffic but at least you don't have to drive so that's great! We are a family of 6 (3A + 3C) and booked a "Day in LA - Private Tour". Our guide was Monty who picked us up directly from our hotel at the appointed time. The car was spacious and he had almost unlimited water that he provided to us through the day.As it was a private tour we were able to customize places we visited, but left it to Monty's guidance. We visited Santa Monica pier, Hollywood Hills (houses of celebrities), Venice Beach, Studios, Griffith Observatory, Walk of Fame etc etc. In certain places we were dropped off and had the flexibility to discover the area in our own pace.In each location the guide was able to provide quite a bit of history and context and other interesting facts. He also tailored the topic to cater to my kids (including the little ones). Moreover, he was knowledgeable enough to answer any additional questions we had and provide more information.Monty also shared tips and recommendations for restaurants and other locations we should visit while in LA. Great tour! I’ve been to LA numerous times, but never to Santa Monica, Venice Beach, or Griffith Park, and really enjoyed seeing them. I learned so much and enjoyed every minute. The tour guide, Key, was fabulous. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and look forward to visiting some of the places she told us about. Top tier tour!

What a terrific overview of the city. So many great selfies. Our guide Key was fun and super knowledgeable. Pickup and dropoff right at the hotel. What could be better! Highly recommend this tour!!!!!!

Our tour guy was great and was so informative of all the things we could possibly do, see or eat. The bus was air conditioned and roomy. We covered a lot of ground and anyone who hasn't been to LA this tour is a must. It gives you an idea of what you may want to explore more on your own.

Had a great day with A day in LA tours today. Joe the driver and tour guide was amazing. His knowledge of the area and the history is very impressive. We hit all my bucket list places without having to worry about parking or directions. I would reccomend the full day tour, just make sure you wear comfortable shoes. We had a blast.

We loved our tour! Raul was our tour guide, he was helpful, knowledgeable, and just a a great guy. We got to see Santa Monica pier, Venice Beach, walk of fame, Griffith's observatory, Rodeo drive, plus so many other sights as we drove around LA that we wouldn't have seen otherwise...plus all the little facts and tidbits that Raul shared along the way. It was myself and 2 teenagers and we all had a good time. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Key was an amazing host and guide through Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Venice Beach and Santa Monica on our tour. She was very generous in sharing her local knowledge of the area.A fantastic personality, she was very funny with her anecdotes of the area. Our experience in LA was amazing! We only had one day to explore the city, but this tour was perfect for us as it allowed us to see all the iconic places. Our guide, Raul, was absolutely fantastic - he was very knowledgeable and a really nice guy. Although it was a long day, it was definitely worth it.
